Your consent
You consent to receive the following electronically instead of on paper:
Electronic delivery has the same legal effect as delivery of a paper copy, to the fullest extent permitted by law (including the federal ESIGN Act and applicable state Uniform Electronic Transactions Acts).
- terms, policies, and disclosures related to UTF;
- notices about your request, matching status, or account;
- updates to legal documents (including this Consent);
- support and service messages;
- other communications we are permitted or required to send.
How we deliver
We may deliver electronic communications by:
You are responsible for keeping your email address and contact details current. If a message bounces or cannot be delivered because your information is outdated, we may treat it as delivered when sent to the last address on file, to the extent allowed by law.
- email to the address you provide;
- in-app messages, screens, or downloadable documents;
- links to pages on uniontrustfinance.com or within the app;
- other reasonable electronic methods you enable.
Hardware and software requirements
To receive and retain electronic communications, you need:
If your equipment or software changes and you can no longer receive electronic documents, notify us promptly at help@uniontrustfinance.com.
- a device that can access the UTF app or a modern web browser;
- a valid email address and internet connection;
- software that can display HTML or PDF documents (as applicable);
- enough storage or a printer to keep copies for your records.
Paper copies
You may request a paper copy of an electronic disclosure we provided by emailing help@uniontrustfinance.com with enough detail for us to locate the document. We will provide a paper copy where required by law or as a reasonable accommodation.
We may charge a reasonable fee for paper copies where permitted by law, unless a free copy is required. Requesting a paper copy does not automatically withdraw your consent to future electronic delivery.
Withdrawing consent
You may withdraw this Consent at any time by contacting help@uniontrustfinance.com with the subject line Withdraw Electronic Consent. Withdrawal is effective after we process your request.
Because UTF operates primarily through electronic channels, withdrawing consent may limit or end your ability to use the app or website. Withdrawal does not affect the legal effectiveness of electronic records already provided while consent was in effect.
Lenders and third parties
UTF is not a lender. If you continue to a lender's application or accept an offer, that lender may ask you to agree to its own electronic signature and disclosure practices. Those rules are between you and the lender. UTF does not control lender e-sign flows, funding documents, or servicing notices.
Related documents
This Consent should be read with our Terms of Use, App Privacy, Privacy Notice, and Credit Authorization.
Changes
We may update this Consent. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the current version. Material changes may be highlighted in the app, on the site, or by email where practical. Continued use after a change means acceptance of the updated Consent.
